Consider Donating to the Panther Fund Today! 

Where FCPS funding ends, Spring Hill families leap in! The Panther Fund is Spring Hill PTO’s direct donation fundraiser that allows our community to sponsor programs and make investments that enhance our children’s educational experience. 

 

We recommend $100 per student, in line with other schools in the area, but any and all donations are greatly appreciated. Spring Hill Elementary PTO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity so your donation is 100% tax deductible.

Contact your HR/Benefits department to see if your company participates in Corporate Matching!  Employee matching gift programs allow companies to match donations made by their employees to eligible nonprofit (501(c)(3)) organizations.

Did you know that many businesses offer a matching gift program as part of their employee benefits package?  That means once you’ve donated to the Panther Fund, there’s a chance your employer will match your donation dollar for dollar!

What are volunteer grant programs?

Volunteer grant programs are corporate giving programs in which companies provide monetary donations to nonprofit organizations where employees volunteer regularly. If you volunteer with the Spring Hill PTO, it’s an easy way to provide us with additional financial support!

 

How do I request a matching gift or volunteer grant?

Requesting a matching gift or volunteer grant is normally a five-minute process which must be initiated by the donor/volunteer. You can do this through an electronic submission process or by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer. Unsure if your company provides matching donor gifts or volunteer grants? Contact your HR/Benefits Department or email Spring Hill PTO’s VP of Fundraising at springhillptofundraiser@gmail.com to confirm your employer’s benefits.

 

When should I apply for corporate matching? 

As soon as you plan to make your donation. Some companies distribute corporate matching funds right away, while others process them quarterly. Other companies have strict timelines for employees to submit their applications. If your company offers corporate matching, please apply for it right away.
